Common warning signs of romance scams:
- Refuses video calls or meeting in person
- Professes love unusually quickly
- Claims to be military, oil rig worker, or doctor abroad
- Asks for money for emergencies, visas, or shipping packages
- Wants gift cards, wire transfers, or crypto
