If you suspect you've been scammed, act quickly:
- Stop — don't send more money or share more information.
- Document — screenshots, URLs, emails, phone numbers, payment receipts.
- Contact your bank — report unauthorized charges immediately.
- Report officially — local police + national cybercrime agency (IC3 in the US, Action Fraud in the UK).
- File a community report — submit here to warn others.
