Fighting Fraud.
Protecting People.Since 2018.
ScamReporting.org was founded on a simple belief: every person deserves to know when they’re being targeted. We’re an independent fraud intelligence platform dedicated to exposing scams, empowering victims, and keeping communities one step ahead of fraudsters.
Our Mission
ScamReporting.org is an independent, non-governmental consumer protection platform. We exist to give ordinary people access to the same fraud intelligence that was once only available to large institutions and law enforcement agencies.
We believe that transparency is the greatest weapon against fraud. When a scammer is exposed publicly, their ability to harm others diminishes dramatically. Our platform makes that exposure possible — quickly, safely, and at scale.
Every report submitted to us is reviewed, categorized, and published to help warn others. We also collaborate with advocacy groups, cybersecurity researchers, and consumer protection organizations to amplify our reach.
We give individuals the tools and information to recognize and avoid fraud before it happens.
Our team monitors emerging scam trends 24/7 and publishes alerts as threats are identified.
Every submission is reviewed for accuracy. We prioritize quality intelligence over volume.
Our strength comes from our community — thousands of people reporting threats every month.
Our Story
Founded
ScamReporting.org launched as a grassroots community blog after our founder was personally targeted by an investment scam. The goal was simple: document and warn others.
Platform Expansion
We launched a structured reporting system, enabling users to submit detailed fraud reports that could be indexed and searched by others experiencing similar scams.
10,000 Reports Milestone
We crossed 10,000 verified scam reports and began formal partnerships with consumer advocacy groups across North America and the UK.
AI-Assisted Detection
Integrated AI-powered phishing detection tools and real-time scam alert systems to help users identify threats faster than ever before.
Growing Every Day
With 14,000+ reports and a community of tens of thousands, we continue to expand our reach and deepen our commitment to fraud prevention worldwide.
What started as a personal mission became a movement. Fraud affects millions of people every year — from elderly individuals targeted by phone scams to professionals deceived by sophisticated investment schemes. The common thread is that most victims had no warning.
ScamReporting.org changes that. By creating a public, searchable record of scam activity, we ensure that the next potential victim has the information they need before it’s too late. Our platform has been referenced by journalists, law enforcement investigators, and financial regulators in their own work.
“I wish I had found this site before I lost $8,000 to a fake trading platform. Within 10 minutes of searching, I found three other reports about the exact same scam. Please keep doing what you’re doing.”

We operate as an independent platform funded by advertising and voluntary contributions from our community. Our editorial independence ensures we can report on scams without commercial or political bias.
Our Core Values
Integrity First
We only publish reports we can reasonably verify. We do not allow defamation, false accusations, or unsubstantiated claims. Every published report meets our editorial standards.
Radical Transparency
We are clear about who we are, how we operate, and how we are funded. We have no hidden agenda — our only goal is consumer protection.
Editorial Independence
Our reporting is never influenced by advertisers or sponsors. We will call out a scam regardless of who is behind it, without fear or favor.
Community Power
The best fraud intelligence comes from the people experiencing it. We are a platform for the community, built by the community — every voice matters.
Privacy & Safety
We accept fully anonymous reports and never publish personal information about victims. Protecting our reporters is as important as protecting the public.
Continuous Improvement
The fraud landscape evolves daily. We invest in new tools, research, and partnerships to stay ahead of scammers and provide the most current intelligence possible.
